I have a FX-6300 Processor 8gb of ram DDR3 and a GTX 750ti 2gb, i was thinking about upgrading my actual card to the gigabyte 1060 3gb, but i dont know if the bottleneck would be worth, please help, and its too expensive to buy and i5 because i need to buy a new mobo, the i5 and the ram (ddr4), and obviously the 1060.

Solution
That is exactly what i did i went from an r7 260x 1gb to a 1060 3gb and its pretty crazy the performance differance. also i recommend that you at least 8gb of ram because most games do use more than 3 now a days. You should chose the best answer in order to close the thread so people dont answer with the same stuff. And good luck with your upgrade.

so it will give me better performance? i mean i have a 750ti, if i upgrade to the 1060, would be better or similar than my actual performance with the botteneck

You will have greatly increased FPS but will have frequent FPS drops due to the processor bottlenecking the card. The degree of bottlenecking will vary from game to game, but I predict it will be very prevalent in GTA5, PUBG, and BF1. Even a 1050 Ti would be bottlenecked by an FX 6300.

Recommend proceeding with the GPU upgrade and saving for a system upgrade to a newer platform such as Ryzen. It may be wise to purchase a cheaper, less powerful graphics card as your system will not allow you to yield the full potential of the GTX 1060.

I have the gigabyte g1 gaming 1060 3gb with an fx6300 and it works great. the bottlenecks that you will be against are so insignificant that you wont feel like there are any unless you play games with msi opened up and constantly checking cpu and gpu usage. The one thing i recommend is getting a cooler onto your fx6300 like the 212 evo and overclocking it to 4ghz it makes most games run more smoothly. All in all im very happy with my setup and i play games like witcher 3, gta 5 most demanding games will run at 50-60fps on high settings in 1080p.

FX6300 and GTX 1060 is bad. To get perfectly smooth 60 FPS gameplay on that processor you either are turning CPU intensive settings down or are overclocking significantly, which itself a bad idea on a cheap air cooler and on a platform known to have low quality VRMs on their motherboards.

If you spend money on a new card there should be over 60 FPS minimum with zero stutter. Getting a better card will give more FPS but staying on the FX platform in 2018 instead of upgrading is an awful idea.

If you actually have some 1080p in-game benchmarks you'd like to share that would be great. Mine say different than what you're saying, unless maybe you're desensitized to choppy gameplay.

he clearly has no money ... and its a much better upgrade from 750 ti to 1060 than buying a brand new cpu platform and staying on a 750 ti. even if he gets the best cpu on the market he is going to get little extra performance because a 750ti is pretty outdated...
