Will my cpu cooler Be quiet dark rock pro 3 fit onto spec listed below

Mobo - maximus ix formula z270

Have ram clearance Crucial - Ballistix Sport LT 8GB

Inwin - GT1 Black ATX Mid Tower Case

if it's working with the z270/170 Pro Gaming, should work for the maximus IX formula as well.

As a side note, it's kinda very questionable "upgrade". you are not going to get better performance or overclock with this change.
And this board costs a lot due to the VRM water block that requires an open loop.
with your current components list, there are way better ways to spend the money.

yea im upgrading the cpu to i5/i7 k so that can overclock at a later stage the mobo has x6 satas x2 m2 slots x4 usb 2.0 x4 usb 3.0 intergraded gpu incase external gpu fails etc. looking a top tier mobo and this one has it all

your money, you can do whatever you want. just mentioned that it's "wasted money".
maximus iX code is exactly the same MB just without the waterblocks on it.
Motherboard don't have GPU, the integrated GPU is CPU feature. and even your current MB have the same features except may be the a single M.2 slot.
anyway, investing in TOP tire MB of the deprecated platform while planning to upgrade to GTX 1060 and having 8GB?
that MB is suited for 10K build with couple of GTX 1080Ti at least.
Don't get me wrong, not bashing or something, just trying to understand why would you do such irrational thing.
Really, sell your PC and get 160-200$ Z370 MB + 8600K or 8700K with 16GB of RAM instead of your plan.
