Can someone give me the value of this HARD DRIVE

Seagate 15k.5 73 GB Hard Drive

A friend asked me to tell him for how mutch can he sell this thing,he found it in his old build..
My toughts are around 10e lol, but ebay sells this for 150dollars

    the money value of this disk is next to none. It can be used as paperweight or magnet, other than that it's useless.
    The cheapest SSD with almost double the capacity will cost about 50$ and will be faster, more reliable and much quieter.
    for 150$, it's about 500GB of decent SSD like MX550 or 860 EVO
  2. Those are going for 8-15 bucks on ebay.
    Dont look at active listings, look at completed, sold listings.

    You can still buy those drives on amazon, nowhere near 150.

    I honestly wouldnt bother selling it.

    Loud backup drive? Maybe.

    I've seen someone list a 10 year old wireless keyboard set that was maybe $100 when new for $400 because they saw some site selling it for $600. Do not go by a price that looks way out of line with what everything else sells for. There are some few exceptions, but usually for products that are needed by companies to provide support for old equipment. A few years back I found a couple of old PDAs I got for free that sold for over $100 each on ebay because companies use them in scanners and needed the old version of Windows CE and the hardware to run their equipment.
