I just got a new SSD (crucial mx300 525gb), after cloning my old HDD to it, I've got duplicate files on my SSD. What should i delete from it? It's taking up 300+gbs.
Yeah so basically I have my hdd with my old files before cloning and then have the same files on my ssd... I don't know what to delete from my ssd because I don't want those files on my ssd, I want to keep the storage on my hdd
Delete EVERYTHING from the HDD.
Then, move whatever you choose from the SSD to the HDD.
Currently, the HDD has the OS on it. Mucking things up and taking up space for no reason.

You went from the HDD to the SSD?
And cloned everything?
If so, assuming it boots properly from only the SSD, you then wipe everything from the HDD
* If you've added new stuff to that drive already, then either back that stuff up somewhere else temporarily before formatting, or just delete the other stuff manually.
