So it just started happening a few days ago that my pc would just stop working and go black whenever I tried to enter a game. (usually there's no sound, sometimes there is. alt+tab doesn't help)
It first happened playing WoW, but then every time I tried to play pubg it happened too. I couldn't play at all. So, I looked into it through google and I eventually decided to update my bios, and that solved the problem for about a week or so and today it just started happening again and now I can't play at all.
Before updating my bios i tried:
-checking for gpu issues, downloaded furmark and saw no problems running the test, also updated drivers
-checked my ram through windows memory test, no problems
-tried using my hdd instead of my ssd for booting the game, no difference.
-checked both disks with hdtune, 0% damaged blocks
So now i'm thinking it's either somehow my gpu still not working, or my psu, or maybe my motherboard is still the problem. I don't know. Please help me out.
My pc works just fine doing everything else, watching youtube videos, using the internet, etc. It's just videogames that cause this black screen.

gtx 980ti
i7 6700k
32gb ddr4 ram
gigabyte g5 z170x mobo
samsung evo 250gb
750w cooler master psu
