Hey guys,

So i know its been asked alot choosing between both gpus but i have read alot of forums that now im stuck between choosing a gpu.

My rig contains :
CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti
SSD: Samsung 960 Pro NVMe PCIe M.2 512GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda Pro 6TB (2016)
RAM: G.SKILL Trident Z DDR4 3200 C16 2x8GB
MBD: Gigabyte Z370 Aorus Gaming 7

Now ive read and watched reviews with alot of people raving over the msi gaming x trio but then i went to my 2 different computer stores where they will build my computer and both people said that prefer the auros extreme because it links with my MB.

so im stuck between choosing? can you please help me decide. Both cost the exact same , so money isnt an issue.

I will be doing alot of 4k gaming and i have a liquid cooler installed into my rig

By "linking", I'm assuming they mean it will link the RGB lights with the Fusion software. Which is true. If you want to have the motherboard RGBs and the GPU RGBs in sync together that's the way to go. But both makers are highly reputable, can't go wrong either way.

If i were to ignore the rgb linking, Which card performs better?
I have seen alot of people complain about the noise output of the auros gaming compared to the msi gaming x trio where people have praised its thermal and noise properties?

With your recommendation, are the cooling and noise properties of the msi gaming X trio much better then that of the auros extreme or is it negligible.

Based on performance - thermal - noise properties which is better and by what margin?

is there a pro and cons list for the gpus mentioned above?

I know im being annoying but its a big investment so i want to buy it knowing i got as much info as i can! so i do apologise in advance.
