I recently bought a used PC and I'm doing some upgrades.
The PC is a ASUS P8B75-M, I5 2320, Ripjaws X 1600 DDR3 4x4gb

I installed a new SSD and cloned the OS, no problem. I did a benchmark and it said the RAM was running under potential at 1300 and I needed to enable XMP.

I enabled XMP and it wont boot, only get a black screen.

What am I missing?

You'd need to look at the serial numbers. It'll usually denote "16GB" or "8GB" etc at the end of the serial.

If you have a 4GB module, and the serial number(s) match for "16GB", then it's likely a 4x4GB "kit".

Are those DDR3 modules a "kit" (sold together) or individual 4GB modules, or 2x 2x4GB 'kits'?

Some RAM just doesn't 'play nice' with others - even identical models.
That's exactly why RAM is sold as "kits" - verified/tested to work with each other with the rated speeds (including XMP) from the factory.
