Hello today i changed to a 1Gbps and im using a cable,
the guy who came here and installed the internet tested it on his laptop and he got 800Mbps/900Mbps which is very good.
But when he tried on my pc it only got to 400/500mbps,
The Computer specs are:
Nvidia GTX 1060 3GB
Asus Prime B250M-PLUS
I7 7700
He said its not the computer either soo if anyone knows any config or something like that i would like to know :D

Solution

Did he use the same cable your PC is connected with? If not it could be that your cable doesn't support Cat5e or Cat6 speeds, it may be the limitation of the cable, if not try updating the drivers for your Ethernet.[/quotemsg]

Yeah he did and i already tried to upgrade but it stays the same, it even says on the settings that its 1gb;

Interesting, do you have a different computer with a 1gb/s (or faster) Ethernet port, like a laptop or anything. It's possible it's being caused by your rig even if it supports 1gb/s

Ok, its possible its just your PC if you go into the settings(I don't remember how) it should show you the link speed between your PC and modem. If its low like around 500Mbp/s its probably a mobo issue, but not anything to be super concerned about because 500Mbp/s is still 100 times faster than my 5Mbp/s
