Hyper 212x vs 212 EVO

Hello!

I'm upgrading my i5 8400s stock Intel cooler. The 212X is newer, but is cheaper than the 212 EVO. Which is better? And would both fit my cpu and motherboard? I have an ASUS Prime z370p.

Sorry, just to clarify was that the 212 x is better than the stock cooler or the evo? If so ill probably get the X as although that cryorig looked good, it was 40 pounds and Im not going to be overclocking as the 8400 can't be overclocked, I just wanted some cooler temperatures. Thanks again for your help.
