Windows searching in the wrong drive

I recently installed a new ssd drive. but windows search gives me no results when i know that the app is on my hdd drive. It seems to be searching in my ssd which have nothing on it, and not the hdd with everything on it. Thank you for your help

Are you talking about the search/cortana nex tto the start menu, or when you are in Explorer? If you are using the search thats in the taskbar you need to change the filter on where it search, and if you are searching in Windows Explorer make sur eyou have whatever drive/folder you want to search highlighted.
