Was playing a game and during it for no reason i could tell my left bumper on my controller just fell off and i was not pressing up against it and if slightly it wasn't a hard press or anything.

Can this be a simple fix like just putting clue on the pieces circled red?

Just worried if putting clue there might make it unable to be clicked and function. or are there replacement pieces u can buy from hardware stores and not cost much because its just a small piece or will i need to buy a new one?

Would not be at all optimistic that the piece will successfully glue back on - or at least glue on well enough to game with again.

Even if you use superglue the plastic is unlikely to bond with the necessary strength - manufacturers do not want their products so easily fixed....

But you could try doing so - just match glue to plastic. May be problematic in itself....

Easily googled. For example:

https://www.quora.com/Does-Gorilla-Glue-work-on-plastic

or

What you may be able to do is scrounge around via friends, family, goodwill/thrift stores and find another controller - Then disassemble and swap parts.

Nothing to lose by trying....
