World of Warcraft Graphical Bug After Win10 Update

So a few weeks ago I updated Windows 10, and since then whenever I switch to WoW from my second monitor (say, Google Chrome or whatever) the colours of WoW will invert for a split second.
Here is a short video showing my problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bpmjfQasU8&feature=youtu.be

While mainly only annoying when it happens like above, if a toast notification comes up from Windows it happens frantically for a few seconds and is absolutely nausea inducing.

This ONLY seems to happen with WoW. Overwatch and other games are fine.
I run the game in Fullscreen (Windowed) mode. Switching to either Fullscreen or simply Windowed mode does not have the problem, but both of these modes have their own range of problems.

I'm running an AMD Radeon R9 200 Series graphics card, which is up to date drivers-wise.
Windows 10 64bit, up to date

I noticed that if I switch the game to run with DirectX 9 rather than 11 then the problem also doesn't occur - however it also states that future versions will not be compatible with it, so it's short-term solution at best.

Checking my DirectX verion, I have DirectX 12.

I'm not the most computer savvy person, so things may need to be explained a little simpler for me, but I'm very interested in learning what the issue is. While there's a couple ways I could work around it, I'm more interested in what exactly has gone wrong in case it happens again with other games.

Solution
Find your wow.exe file, right click, properties, combatibility, check the box that says Disable Windows FullScreen optimizations. It's a known bug for many games.

Go into your world of warcraft folder, on your hard drive, and find the cache and wtf folders. Move them to another location, to back them up in case it doesn't work, and log into WoW. WoW will recreate those folders from scratch. You will lose addon settings, but often this can fix issues such as yours.

Sorry for the delay, I've had nothing but real life drama for days. But I tried this (also removing addons with those folders) and it didn't work.
I reinstalled Windows 10 and the game, and it has persisted through that as well. I did come across someone else who had the same issue and he said the only fix he found was to roll back the update.

Aaaand now it's spread to Overwatch. I need to find some non-Blizzard gamesto play.

This seems to have completely fixed the problem, both for Overwatch AND WoW. Thank you very much, I know what to do now if it happens again!
