So a few weeks ago I updated Windows 10, and since then whenever I switch to WoW from my second monitor (say, Google Chrome or whatever) the colours of WoW will invert for a split second.
Here is a short video showing my problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bpmjfQasU8&feature=youtu.be
While mainly only annoying when it happens like above, if a toast notification comes up from Windows it happens frantically for a few seconds and is absolutely nausea inducing.
This ONLY seems to happen with WoW. Overwatch and other games are fine.
I run the game in Fullscreen (Windowed) mode. Switching to either Fullscreen or simply Windowed mode does not have the problem, but both of these modes have their own range of problems.
I'm running an AMD Radeon R9 200 Series graphics card, which is up to date drivers-wise.
Windows 10 64bit, up to date
I noticed that if I switch the game to run with DirectX 9 rather than 11 then the problem also doesn't occur - however it also states that future versions will not be compatible with it, so it's short-term solution at best.
Checking my DirectX verion, I have DirectX 12.
I'm not the most computer savvy person, so things may need to be explained a little simpler for me, but I'm very interested in learning what the issue is. While there's a couple ways I could work around it, I'm more interested in what exactly has gone wrong in case it happens again with other games.
