Hi guys! I'm sorry if i choosed a wrong category. So my problem is that i wanted to reset my iphone 6s. I had itunes installed on my pc and i dont know why but i reseted my phone from the itunes app not from my iphone and it downloaded the software and the phone started to reset but then a message appeared on my desktop and it said "An error occurred" and the phone remained in the reset loading screen (black screen with iphone logo in the middle and a loading bar under the logo but the loading bar is not filled at all and it wont fill).I tried to force restart it but thet neither worked.

Solution
been a few years since i messed with iphones but in the past as recent as iphone 5, something like this needed the phone to be put into DFU mode to break the soft brick. itunes will recognize the mode once it is there and will then try again to restore the firmware

Step 1. Launch iTunes on your PC, after which you need to plug in your iPhone 6s with a USB came with it.
Step 2. Power off your phone.
Step 3. Press the "Power" and "Home" button simultaneously for 10 seconds.
Step 4. Release the "Power" button but keep pressing the "Home" one for another 10 seconds.
Step 5. When a dialogue box comes up on itunes saying "itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode.....", it is time to release your fingertip pressing on the "Home" button...

this should get it up n running again. keep in mind this will delete the whole phone so anything not backed up is lost. itunes will resync the phone once done so anything synced there is good to go.
