Good price gtx 1060 6gb

Ive been wanting to upgrade my gpu from a gt 1030 for a while but i didnt have the money. At the time i found several for 250 to 300 dollars but now i cant find one under 400 dollars. Im guessing the bitcoin mining is to blame, but damn, some of these cards have seen up to 500 dollar price hikes. Is $300 a reasonable price for this card at all?

Does anyone know where i can find this card for a good price, if possible an msi card or should i just wait out the wave of overpriced cards and just buy a used one after?

Would be best to wait out the mining craze, as the cryptocurrency bubble is said to pop again soon. With a new wave of GPUs coming out within the year, it's expected that prices on cards will drop back to MSRP at some time. You won't find one that isn't used under $400 now, so really the best option is to wait.
