Hi. I noticed on one of the radiator fans there was a strange liquid, not much but noticeable. The other fan was completely dry. I took the fan off and noticed a few skew fins. I have been using it for 8 months now and only saw this now. Nothing else seems to be wet. Checked the whole pc. Is this something to worry about? The cpu temps is still quite fine. I have a 7600k oc to 5.0ghz on 1.3volt. Prime95 stress test hottest core was 74C. So the cooler is working but i just want to know if it is something to worry about and what i can do.

Thank you

As the blades spin, they centrifuge it to the rim, than dust stick to it. It can be grease.

It can be oil or grease from the fan bearing. Cm sells the radiators with "Loop Dynamic Bearing" fans.
"The self-lubricating and IP6X dustproofing design protects the bearing and keeps it operating smoothly, ensuring a new system will likely be long obsolete by the time ..."
I guess they just overfilled it :)

thank you for the quick reply. I should have mentioned that the liquid was on the edges of the fan blades..

nowhere near the middle are any form of liquid...

Do you think it can still be the oil or grease from the fan bearing?

Hi i know it has been a while since you posted this but thank you for the response.

It was indeed some lubricant from the fans. After i cleaned it off there has been no strange liquid or anything on the radiator or fans.
