Please help me on upgrade path

I'm using i5 6600 pair with gtx 960 4gb now, atm i have 700$ to upgrade, i'm thinking about gtx 1070ti but the price is insane and so hard to find one thanks for mining, plus i affraid my i5 6600 will bottleneck gtx 1070ti at 1080p, then i'm thinking about i7 8700 and new motherboard, keep my gtx 960 to 2 or 3 months for 1070ti, so which one is a good path for me to go? My purpose is gaming, some times editing and encoding, thanks you all

A 1070 GTX will not be bottlenecked by a i5 6600. Anything more powerful than a GTX 1070 is a waste of money for 1080p. Even a 1080 GTX would only be lightly bottlenecked by a i5 6600. You'll be fine with any of these 3 cards; 1070, 1070 Ti, 1080. I recommend the GTX 1070 and it will cost less.

All genre but not simulation and sport, open world is my favourite.
