So I'm planning on upgrading my CPU PSU and motherboard, I currently have a gtx 950 and thats the only thing I'm not changing other than the hard drive. I'm planning on getting the following:
CPU: intel i5 7600k
Mobo: gigabyte GA-Z270-HD3P
PSU: Corsair - RMx 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
and I'll get 8gb Kingston ram DDR4
Would this build be good for playing overwatch or rust on high settings? And anyone think I could get something better for around the same price range

Solution
What is your current CPU? Unless it's quite low end you would likely see a larger benefit going for a GPU upgrade instead, the gtx 950 is not really a powerful GPU.

As for the CPU upgrade you would be much better off looking at say an i5 8600k or an i5 8400 rather than a quad core 7th gen CPU.

My current cpu is a pentium g620, pretty outdated and I’ll check the 8600k out, thanks for the quick reply :)

Sorry, thought he already had some of what was in the first post.

OP, i5/7-8xxx is the way to go, I think that the cheaper mobo's are going to be arriving 'soon' if you can hang on.

If I was to get a new GPU what would you recommend?
