Sometime the system shuts off instantly at random times. I use the system for basic web browsing streaming and gaming.

I have done the following to figure it out so far:
swapped out memory
swapped out video card
swapped out hard drives used ssd and regular hd together and separately

I have Open Hardware Monitor and will produce the entire log but I'm not sure if any of the log would be a security risk if I posted the entire thing. Please let me know what parts of the log should be left out when posting here if any.

Hardware will be on the log but here is a summary
SPCC Solid State Disk
AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Processor
Maelstrom 120k Liquid cooler
Gigabyte 970A-D3P
AMD Radeon R7 200 Series
Generic memory 4gb x2

Well.. Like I said.. I jumpered the power switch and now it shuts back down in like one second. Why would it do that?

Edit: My bad.. I left the jumper on the switch pins lol.. Will update you if this fixes the issue
Thanks again

Second edit:
PC still shuts down randomly so the power switch is not the issue. Any other ideas? Wouldn't the Open Hardware Monitor log help diagnos this? I don't understand the log myself but windows error log is of no use.

Thanks for the reply vexicus
Not sure what you mean by the power switch being faulty. Why would you say that and how would I check that?

Remove the power button from the motherboard....nd start ur PC by shorting two pins at bottom....keep the power button disconnected.....nd check if the same problem occurs again

I used a jumper from an old dvd player to jump the power switch but now it only turns on for a second and then off. Would this be because the power switch is also the reset switch? Do I need to jump that one too?
