I've seen several posts of the likeness, this no answers that remedied my issue.
CPU Model: Dell Optiplex i7 990
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 8gb
With no exception, if my card is plugged in, there is no display upon boot. With BIOS settings PC Slot enabled, or disabled, this doesn't change.
The display will return upon the Removal of the GPU, and reboot of the PC. I always shutdown and unplug everything before I insert or remove anything.
My GPU's driver disc that came with it requires the Card to be installed to install it's drivers.
Is there any way to have a display while the GPU is in my PC? I hypothesize that whenever the GPU is inserted, it somehow automatically intercepts, or redirects the display.
Could this be the behavior of a defective card?
