can i overclock my cpu?

Solution
I have seen some used gtx 960 around 100 dollars on ebay Not ideal but better then what is on the die.

Oh and yes that cpu overclocks. Not a good idea though.

I don't think that dual core has an unlocked CPU multiplier. So any gains you'd get with the base clock alone would be minimal. And the motherboard isn't really designed to do any serious OC'ing anyway. Best to find a quad core for the board instead. Here is the CPU compatibility list for the motherboard. Chances are, you can find a faster quad core on places like ebay relatively cheap.

Do you have a discrete gfx card or are you still using the integrated video?

If you get the A8-6600K new or used in-box, it will come with a heat-sink/fan for the 100W (TDP) APU. Your old cooler from the A4-7300 is only safe up to 65W. The A8-6600K will come with a faster clocked quad core and a slightly faster iGPU.

I would recommend getting a discrete gfx card first, but prices are crazy right now. What are you trying to improve on? Gaming graphics or Better multiplayer response?

i really wanna be able to play fortnite but i wanna be able to record videos on minecraft which is a cpu based game and i was orignaly gonna go with a gpu but then i found out that mc is a cpu based game so i started looking for cpus and i also get the feeling that ill bottle neck a lot with something good like a 1050ti on a game like fortnite and getting a 1050ti was my first plan but then i started looking at prices and i dont have $200-250$ and i dont know if ill need a mini or not (i think i do)

i thought fortnite needed more gpu not cpu and im not having issues with mc i get anywhere from 30-150 fps but normally on The low side i just wanna be able to record on there which i would probaly need around 300 fps all the time to be able to record in 60fps
and on another topic would i need a 1050ti mini or just a normal 2 fan one? because i feel like a 2 fan one wont fit tbh.
