need help with computer part compatibility

Solution
Motherboard is too expensive for the i3 to be paired with it.

RAM is better off as 2 x 8GB, not 1 x 16GB.

No need for 3rd part CPU cooler, as the stock one is good enough for the 8100.

PSU has to be better. Go for 600W for future upgradability.

For $1900, this would be much better:
PCPartPicker part list: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/WdydnH
Price breakdown by merchant: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/WdydnH/by_merchant/

CPU: Intel - Core i5-8400 2.8GHz 6-Core Processor ($219.99 @ Mike's Computer Shop)
Motherboard: MSI - Z370-A PRO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($139.99 @ Mike's Computer Shop)
Memory: ADATA - XPG Z1 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2800 Memory ($173.99 @ PC-Canada)
Storage: SanDisk - SSD PLUS 240GB 2.5" Solid State Drive...
If Partspicker says it's all compatible, it is but I would make some changes. RAM would be better off with 2 8GB modules and PSU up to 550 - 600W.
Also may not need expensive MB with non K processor, even cheapest one would do same job. I would divert money saved to an i5 processor instead.

If you do not mind an unactivated Windows, and plan to stay at 1080p, the 1060 6GB will be better than the 1060 3Gb and you do not need to buy a Windows Copy:
