Choosing between Intel Core i5 8400 And AMD Ryzen 5 1600?

I'm stuck between choosing my CPU.

Option #1
Intel Core i5 8400 € 198,95

Option #2
AMD Ryzen 5 1600 € 178,95

The difference between the options will be € 60 since the motherboards for the 8400 are more expensive. I have a Rx 480 8gb and will not be upgrading that. Would the extra € 60 be worth it?
When i compare the CPU it says the 8400 is about 11% better then the Ryzen. But when i compare the full builds it's only 3% better. Is this because my Rx 480 is keeping the CPU back? And if so will it be worth the € 60. I will mainly use the PC for gaming.

Your GPU will not hold back too much. It is usually the CPU that holds back.

For Video Editing, Gaming, stuff that requires more Cores go down the Ryzen line, but the Intel is still a strong contender.

Go for whatever is cheaper if you do not mind the loss of a few FPS.

So a rx 480 intel 8400 combo is worth it. I don't want to pay € 60 more for the cpu if my gpu is holding it back. I also won't be overclocking it. I'm not sure which one is better because some sites say the 8400 and some say the ryzen 5.
