Can I run Surround mode with SLI?

I currently have two EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW Edition 8GB cards in my system which I have 5 1080p monitors hooked up to them, 2 monitors to one card, 3 to the second card. I'm currently thinking of SLI'ing the cards to have a small performance peek in games. But since I have all 5 monitors in sorround mode, if I SLI the cards, will I still be able to use the 5 monitor sorround mode? Or will I need to plugin all 5 monitors into single card and get adapaters? I want to make sure before I run out and get a $30 SLI bridge just to find out that I also need to get adapaters. Thanks
