I'm currently using the fan that came with my old i5-6600 since the i7-7700k didn't come with one. I had bought a COOLER MASTER RR-212X-20PM-R1 120mm 4th Generation Bearing CPU Cooler awhile ago and opened it up once I got the i7. Not even a small chance this thing would fit.
So I'm curious if there are smaller sized fans with really good performance. Sometimes when gaming my CPU temp will idle around 80-85 but randomly it will hit 100 and I'm just not comfortable with that at all. Cost isn't a huge deal to me, but I'd like to keep any totals under $100.
