Problems with my secondary M.2 NVME drive. I've tried all I know to do!

I have a Skylake X system i7 7820X running with the MSI X299 GAMING M7 MOBO and 1080ti.
I have a 960 Pro 1tb SSD in the M.2_1 slot, which functions as my boot drive, etc. The system works great, but with one caveat.

I just picked up a 960 Evo 1tb drive and installed it in the M.2_2 slot directly below the 960 Pro. These are the only storage drives in my system. The problem is: the 960 Evo shows up in Bios and in Windows within the device manager. However, it DOES NOT show up in disk management. I am unable to format it as it does not show up in the formatting window of disk management. I've installed drivers, uninstalled and reinstalled the drive, etc. I can't seem to figure out what is going on. Bios detects it, Windows detects it in devices, but it's not appearing in disk mgmt. Thus, I can't use it.

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Solution
Go into your BIOS and verify that the second NVMe is detected. That second M.2 slot may be disabled by default. Reference your motherboard manual to verify the correct settings for the M.2 ports. And make sure the RAID is disabled.
