hello guys, my connection is currently at 50 mbps but computer only receiving 10mbps
so i tried my ethernet cable on my laptop and it got a full 50mbps, im sure problem isnt from router or cable, and ive been having packet loss issues too on computer and at the same time there isnt any problems on my laptop while playing dota2 and the ping is stable at 55-58
anyway might the problem be from my network card or settings? and i checked my pc port and its clean and nothing is broken!
any ideas?
and i dont know if its worth mentioning but my pc is like 5 years old
and yeah i forgot to mention that connection sometimes keeps connecting and disconnecting for a while before it works constantly!, only the cable everything else is working perfectly, and this only happens on my desktop not on any other device

Bad ethernet cable can fail very strangely, they can work on some machine but not others. Some machines are just more tolerant of a bad cable.

You need to try multiple cables on your PC. If the problem continues the port is bad even though it is extremely rare for a port to fail. The failures are seldom physical it will be something with the electronics. You could use a USB ethernet adapter if the port is bad. USB2 can't run gigabit but your internet is only 50mbps and can easily do that.
