True but it is also known that after a while of having a stable overclock on some boards sometimes the motherboard will give out in this case that does sound like what has happened this motherboard although it supports overclocking it sound like it has just given out when trying to hold an overclock after a while. Its kind of a luck of the draw or just luck in general that a motherboard will hold an overclock for a long time. Others who have owned the same cpu and motherboard have put on the forums that it starting working again after the motherboard was returned and they got a new one either just like it or the x370 version sorry but it sounds like the goose is either fried from running again so its stuck walking or their still is a...

Sounds like you have to dial back the overclock a little bit. Clear your cmos again and dial down the overclock a little bit to avoid the black screen issue. If it persists than you have a bigger problem.

Basically the forum states that the b350 is a budget motherboard not really 100 percent meant for overclocking and that the x370 boards are more meant for overclocking as they have more heatsinks over mosfets and VRMs for overclocking. Sorry man maybe a switch to a x370 board will solve the problem to be honest.

Everything would be understandable if not the thing that I had it overclocked to 3.9 ghz at 1.35 v for about 2 months before this.
