I have a 1070 ti overclocked and an i5 8600k at 4.6 rn but i was thinking of overclocking it to 5.
Right now i have a g550m cooler master psu and i think its not enough because i game around 12 hours+ per day.
Can you recommend the best power supply for me?

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139202 is a good PSU. It's also a newer 2017 model. It can handle anything up to the 1080.

True 550W is enough. I believe he is simply concerned about using it for extended periods of time daily. 12 hours/day is longer than the standard 8 hours/day. The CM G550M is decent quality. But I wouldn't blame anyone for upgrading to a tier 1 PSU with better quality parts and a longer warranty for a system that is being used under a gaming load more than the average.

I want my system to be as stable as possible, this psu is a tier 3 from what ive seen and id prefer to have a tier 2 or 1 psu on my system, plus i also have some money to waste.

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151192 is slightly better than my choice.

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139143 is another quality high end unit capable of powering anything up to the 1080 Ti and is my recommendation.

The G3 line from EVGA is another higher quality PSU.

The EVGA G2 series is arguably better than all the rest due to the better fan that has been proven to last longer. They've listed some good power supplies, but if you have money to waste you can't get any better than EVGA G2 unless you go P2 or T2.

*Edit: I think what's more important here though is that you've listed the Corsair CX series which is in the same tier as OP's current power supply. There may be some slight differences, but that upgrade would be rather pointless. Also, the SeaSonic S12II isn't a great upgrade either from what he already has either.

Other than that the Corsair RMx, SeaSonic FOCUS Plus, and EVGA G2 (G3 if you can't get G2) would all be great choices.
