I just upgraded from 1080p 60hz to a gsync 1440p 144hz (OC 165hz).

I was getting around 60% usage in PUGB for CPU and GPU 99%. Now with the 1440p I turn Vsync off and Gsync on and I'm around 70-80 FPS which isn't HUGE but now my CPU is at 100% and my temps went from a 69c peak to 79c. I am getting a 1080 down the road to compliment my 1440p and my Oculus Rift. For now this is concerning though as I have seen benchmarks for my rig and cpu usage is never really past 50% in 1440p 144hz. Is there something I am missing, maybe in NVidia control panel or something? Thanks guys.
