Hi guys, okay so here are my specs to begin with:
Ryzen 5 1600 Asrock AB350m Pro4 8GB Corsair Vengeance 3000 RAM GTX 1050ti
So this is happening with the vast majority of my games some i can play longer than others but they will just stop responding or crash to the desktop. Games such as PUBG, DOOM, Fortnite, BF1,Vermintide 2 all crash, however old games such as L4D2, Torchlight 2, Call of Duty all run fine.
So far i have done a fresh install of windows, i have uninstalled drivers and reinstalled the latest from their websites. I have ran memtest for one pass with 0 errors (although i intend to run it overnight tonight) and i have ran windows memory diagnostics.
When the games have been crashing i have had afterburner open to monitor temps and none of them rise to anything too high.
However i built this PC myself and when the RAM arrived the box it came in was very wet from the rain, the sticks themselves felt fine though. Recently i have tried to overclock the RAM to something over 2133 and at 2933 the PC will sometimes start up fine but then other times wont post at all so it was far from stable.
I think it could be the RAM but dont really have anyway of knowing for sure, Anyone have any ideas?
Cheers, Tom
