Powering a separate computer's GPU from the PSU of a different computer. Challenge!

Here is the setup.

Two Computers, each with their own PSUs, Motherboards and GPUs.

One computer's PSU doesn't have a PCIe port and so I was trying to crossover a PCIe cable from the main computer's PSU to the other computer's GPU.

The PSU of the main computer is a CorsairHX750. The GPU of the main computer is a 1080 while the alternate computer's GPU is a 780.

The reason this is so convoluted is because I am trying to take a very uncustomizable Acer AME600 and make it semi-useful again.

[SOLVED]

I needed to have an 8PIN and 6PIN connection running from the Main Computer's PSU to the Alternate Computer's GPU. Started right up, PSU is fine on main computer. 8 or 6 wasn't enough.

Mods, please change my name to something that's not my actual name.

like, DandyDude or some variation.

Changing your member name is not easy.

Much easier is just to create a whole new account.
