I'm choosing between 2 setups. Both are about the same price.
4x ST2000DM006 (raid 0)
2x ST3000DM008 (raid 0) + 1x ST2000DM006
I will be doing backups on an external drive. The drives will be mounted externally with a fan on them. How much faster will set up one be and is it worth the risk of failure? I'm building an extreme all-out gaming rig. Please give me your opinion on which is better and why. Thanks.
