Computer Crashing during gaming, can't figure out the culprit

I have this computer problem that started back in October when I got Wolfenstein II. I experience this phenomena where the monitors lose connection, the sound still plays, the screens turn blue like they are disconnected, and then a loud harsh tone plays from the speakers and I have to manually restart the computer. It has happened during Overwatch, Rainbow Six Siege, and most notably Kingdom Come Deliverance.

So far it hasn't happened in Doom and Assassins Creed 4. (Games i've been playing lately).

I reformatted my computer about a month ago, since then I've played Doom, AC4, and Kingdom Come Deliverance. Kingdom come is borderline unplayable because it happens roughly every 20-30 minutes.

I ran HWMonitor and my graphics card peaks at about 80C. Audibly it doesn't sound my fans are ever roaring before this happens.

Event Viewer records the event as Source Kernel-Power Event ID 41, Task Category 63.

My specs:

Windows 10 PRO

Intel Core i5 6500

ASUS H170 PRO Gaming Motherboard

16GB EVGA ram

Radeon RX 480 8GB

Corsair TX750M Power Supply

I have done all the normal troubleshooting stuff, I have changed hard drives, updated drivers, switched RAM, and scoured the internet looking for tips. I have narrowed it down to maybe my graphics card or my power supply.

It's the gpu. There's 2 sides to a graphics card, the processor (gpu) and vram/VRM's area. Of the 2, only the gpu records a temp, the vram/VRM's don't. Normally, if the gpu is hitting 80°C+, you can expect the vram to be hitting 90°C ish. If the airflow over that side of the card is compromised, dirty, no fan, slow fan etc, then all that circuitry is going to cook, while the processor is showing regular temps.

Clean the gpu. Visually check the fans, at loads of 80°C they should be screaming. Check your software, or add software like Evga has to verify the cards temps, fan speeds etc.

Thanks, I'll try this. My graphics card isn't screaming.

It does do a weird thing sometimes. I'll be on the couch watching netflix, or doing the dishes and it will start roaring for a minute and then die down.
