Good evening! I'm looking to spend $2000 on a new gaming computer here within a week or so. With that said, I'd like to see some custom builds that give me the most for what I'm paying. Ideally I'd like a 1080 ti, i7 cpu, a pcu to run them, ssd - the works. However, due to over inflated prices I'm sure I can't get all that for $2000. So if you all have some time, could you list what you think is the best possible computer for my money? I thank you all in advance!

Yeah you arent going to be building a gaming PC right now for that money. a 1080ti will cost you 1500 bucks alone with the current market.

But when they do come down I would build it like this, excluding a case and OS

I would recommend you to wait for 2months before you buy GPU as probably new NVIDIA lineup will be out so you can get that instead of GTX1080Ti. You can run your basic requirements on integrated GPU.

Has 16 gigs of RAM at 3000Mhz, 8700k, and a 1080Ti.

PSU for both is good quality.

Like Dranzer said, releases are around the corner so consider that. That said, 1080Ti is still very powerful that will last at 1440p for quite a bit.
