I guess my question would be where can I find one? With this shortage of gpu's going on its kind of difficult. Not to mention they are all way over priced.. Do you see this shortage coming to an end and prices getting somewhat reasonable?

Nvidia is sold out of everything.. There is a long waiting list.. Has this happened before in the past? There is a Best Buy about an hour from my place that has a couple gtx 1050 ti's 4gb that are going for $320.. Seems extremely over priced to me. The only cards left really are the AMD Radeon RX 550 4GB for $190 and AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB for $500.. Never used AMD Gpu's before always Nvidia so i'm kind of skeptical.

Consider buying from countries where prices are normal and shipping them? Singapore has sites like carousell, Lazada, and price lists from shops like Fuwell that show the prices of the GPU's as roughly equivalent to the MSRP of the same cards in US after currency exchange. I live in SG, and the prices have not been affected at all. A 1080Ti still goes for around $1000 which is $757 usd or so.

Singapore? Scamming? How? $700 USD for a 1080Ti is not a scam it is a good deal.

The only places that happens in are Ebay, random sites like Qoo10, EzBuy and Alibaba.

Singapore literally has one of the lowest rates for scams. Shipping may be a concern.

It is overpriced, the MSRP originally was something like $150. Between the silicon wafer price hike (two 300mm wafer manufacturers increased their blank wafer prices by 20% due being over-booked) and memory shortages though, the MSRP may be up closer to $200 now if it got updated.

Hopefully prices will come back down before the next time I feel like upgrading my GPU. Otherwise, I'll be stretching my GTX1050 for much longer than I stretched my HD5770. I had to give up on the old Radeon when I started playing WoW again: 1GB of GDDR3 simply wasn't enough to run a game with my triple-display desktop active so random windows were failing to redraw properly. Glad I upgraded just before prices flared up.

Yea, my 760 ti 2gb has been hanging on for almost 6 years now.. Never saw this coming, sure as heck not going through Singapore to buy anything.. I'd rather just wait, thanks though!
