Hello, I just helped my friend put together a computer and I find it odd he gets more FPS than me on the game we play (PUBG). So, here's our rigs and I was wondering if anyone has any information on why? I am using a 24" 1080p monitor, he was using a 40" 1080p TV if that makes a difference? Both using the same resolution.

Me:
Zotac GTX 960 4gb
Ryzen 1800x
16gb RAM @ 2400
AB350 Pro4 mobo

Him:
GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4gb
Ryzen 1600x
16gb RAM @ 2400
AB350 PRO4 mobo (same as me)

I was under the impression the 960 is slightly better than the 1050 Ti, but he gets around 20 more FPS than me (60 vs 80). His graphics card doesn't have the power supply plugged into it, mine does.

Any idea why? Is his card just a better card? Thanks

Solution
in the contrary gtx 1050Ti is a bit more powerful video card compared to gtx 960 .
and pubg is poorly optimized game .
here are the results on ultra settings : https://www.techspot.com/article/1551-pubg-graphics-benchmarks/

he also might have some details on lower settings than you or something
so even if you both play at 1080p it could make a difference .
