I am looking for detailed specifications for the SSD and HHD components of subject Toshiba laptop. Unfortunately the detailed specifications provided by Toshiba at:

https://support.toshiba.com/support/staticContentDetail?contentId=4004386&isFromTOCLink=false

only provide generic specifications for these two components as:

SSD: 256GB mSATA solid state drive(SSD)
HDD: 1TB(5400 RPM) Serial ATA hard disk drive

What I am looking for specifically are seek times, rotational delay (for HDD), and block transfer times.

That's all the detail they can give because they don't necessarily fit the same HDD or SSD drive models to every Qosmio X70 laptop that leaves the factory. It depends on a number of factors eg what drives are available at the time the laptop is assembled, what drives are available when Toshiba orders them from their supplier etc.

Somebody else could buy the exact same laptop model as you, but it will in all likelihood have a different model HDD or SSD inside it.

So you see, the only general details Toshiba can give in the laptop specs is the capacity and type of drive.

If you want detailed drive specs you'll have to wait until the laptop arrives at your home, take a look at the drive and make a note of it's make & model.

Then get...

Then get detailed specs on the drive manufacturer's website if not printed on the drive sticker.
