So I will be building my pc on July/August, as I'm waiting for the Volta series, Hopefully by then the 60 version of Volta will be out.
Anyways, right now on Newegg, R5 1600 is currently AED699($190), and usually its around AED860($235), What if I bought the cpu now and saved some money?
What are the chances of receiving faulty cpus from newegg, as In some reviews, they said they recieved faulty cpus.
Could there be any other newer option that I could go for?

Solution
Faulty CPUs are rare generally. If you are only gaming, go with the i5 8400.

July/August is far away and there may be more releases by then. It is good to plan what you want in your build but pointless to make a list now if it is going to be irrelevant then.

I would've gone with the coffee lake but cheap mobos for it is something you dont see everyday.
If they will soon be compatible with cheaper boards, priced similar to b350m's I will go for that.

Sure. HXXX and BXXX series should be out soon, but good point. Then go with Ryzen for now. The new Ryzen line is basically the same as before but with an integrated GPU.
