Well this may fall in between the system or pc gaming thread. Anyhow I’m thinking about of building a system for my gaming server for ark, rust, 7d2d, etc. I’m only going to be running 1 server at a time and when my friends or I are playing. So it will not run 24/7. I’m thinking about just building a raven ridge system. The 2400g so I don’t have to buy a GPU. The reason I’m thinking about doing this is because I been noticing the dedicated server while gaming on it will slow my fps pretty bad randomly and maxes two of my cores. Not sure if my ssd needs to be faster to fix it. I use a ryzen 1700(3.2ghz undervolt) with 32(2x16)gb 3000mhz and a r9 390. No one else feels the slow down except me. One of my friends is using a ryzen 1700 too so don’t blame it on my cpu. I know that these games have horrific optimizations. I’m wondering if getting buying the enmotus software will alleviate some load on my ssd by making my pc into an Intel rapid storage technology like state with 2-6gb ram cashe.
