So basically I got a new CPU cooler (Cryorig H7 Quad Lumi, if it matters the cooler I got) for my pc and I want to install it but I’m scared I will mess something up. I’ve never built a pc or even installed/removed a pc part ever despite gaming on pc for years. I looked at the backplate and screws that it came with for installation, read the manual thoroughly, and watched multiple YouTube videos on how to install it. I’m sure it’s pretty simple but I’m just afraid I’ll do something wrong and I’ll mess up my mobo or something. Anyway, what’s the worse that could happen if I install it incorrectly etc.? Am I overthinking and should just try to install it? Or should I pay a professional to do it for me? Just looking for answers and advice because I’m clearly new to this. Thanks.

you could just grab PC and parts and bring it to a reputable computer store
(frys, microcenter etc. (not a store with geek squad in it =!!!) and let their technical dept. handle it for a nominal price.
