Hello , i've been having computer problems and it has been driving me crazy. I asked questions on this fourm before and people told me to upgrade gpu , so i upgraded to a 1060 and it still crashes ! Sometime it even takes me to the Blue screen of death ! Now i have a feeling it's my motherboard cause it is refurbished from MicroCenter but i wanted to see what you guys thought. Some games i play are Rust/LoL/Poe/Pubg/Fortnite/Dying Light.
CPU i5-469k (with corsair h50)
GPU Evga 1060 6gb
Mobo Asrock Z97 Pro4 (refurbished)
PSU Corsair CX650M
RAM 16gb

What do you mean reboot? When my game crashes it closes the game and take me back to my desktop or occasionally i go into Blue screen / It reboots on it's own. Should i go for a higher watt psu? Any suggestions? And also do you think my motherboard is fine?

Hmm. Have you tried memtest yet? Run memtestx86 on each RAM stick multiple times to make sure it is not your memory. It may take some time.

This could also be a motherboard issue like you said. If you have a spare one lying around with the same chipset or can borrow one of the same chipset, try it out.

I didn't try the memtest exactly , I tried window diagnostic or something like that and it said memory was fine.

Okay so i ran mem test it said past , i ran 3 test for each stick. But i recently got a bsod and i ran the error code and it was " memory mangement " so is the problem my ram?

So i tried updating my cpu and gpu , both failed. I get nvdia installer failed for gpu and my cpu said i didn't meet requirement for the latest driver.

so it's been 3 days with the new ram and 0 crashes. Thank you for your help. But what is the cause of my ram burning out on me?

Could be hardware failure. Maybe a module gone bad, or a gate not working anymore. Usually hard to pin point other than it is a RAM problem.
