EVGA GTX 560 Ti won't use drivers

I recently bought a used system with a GTX 560 Ti in it and no matter what I do it continues to use Microsoft's basic display renderer. I've tried the card in multiple different systems, some with pre installed Nvidia drivers and some with fresh installations of Windows 10. Nvidia Geforce Experience doesn't give any errors and claims to have installed the drivers properly only needing a restart to install, but when the system turns back on, it's still not using the drivers. The display is limited to 1280x1024 at 64hz for whatever reason with only 3 other lower resolutions to choose from.

I've taken the cooler off of the card to see if there were any physical defects and as far as I can tell, there isn't. I'm starting to believe the card may be broken but it was able to boot and run Overwatch, albeit only in 5 FPS with the lowest possible settings, using the Microsoft display renderer so it seems as if it does work.

Solution
If you are installing correct drivers (i.e. driver of same model that your card have) then your GPU may be defective or PCI-E slot. Also go to device manager and run a scan over there. If unknown device comes up in a list, then right click on it and install it.

Yes, this kind of problem happens to me long ago. Dont use pre installed drivers as it will mess things up. Un install drivers, then restart Windows and install new drivers. Sometimes even if you install the drivers and Windows pick it up but your games fps will drop badly. Like if it has to be 60 fps, it will give 25 on average. If your issue is just like me then I think remove Window and install fresh copy of Windows. Also make sure don't use pre installed drivers if GPU is changed, whether if its of same series.
If issue still persist then your GPU may be defective if your PSU is giving proper voltages.

I tried it with a fresh installation of Windows multiple times before trying it with pre installed drivers to see if the drivers weren't installing properly. They are installing, the GPU just ignores the drivers.
