ok so i recently overclocked my gtx 1080 and i tried to play Squad when i tried to get into an server it sayd that i ran out of memory so i decided to go back to my default overclock wich was +102 on main clock And +260 on memory clock i also went with power was 121 and thats about it, when i went back to those settings from my new overclock wich was +150 main +300 memory +10 voltage, i think beacuse i had these settings it damaged my card and it somehow did something bad in it cuz on my other settings i could play this game and no msg would pop out with ran out of memory

Can you damage your GPU overclocking with those settings. of course you can!

All it takes is one memory chip not fully covered with a thermal pad.

If you're using MSI Afterburner to overclock the card set it back to default and see what happens?

I'm not really sure why you're OCing to play that game with a 1080 GTX?

You have twice the card memory the game specs even require.

You haven't mentioned temperatures what are they reaching?

Okay, so you overclocked, then reverted to normal but then increased the power target and then you applied an even more aggressive OC and then

What does that mean? These settings? OC settings? other settings? in game settings?

Your description of your steps and the actual problem is so very murky.

You also have your CPU OC'd which skews the results.

You talk about running out of memory. What does that mean? VRAM? Hard Drive space? RAM? You have 16GB RAM and 8GB VRAM. I see no reason that you would be out of memory.

Your question lacks specifics. Is it chronological? Idk.
