Hi guys, long story short.

I built my first budget gaming PC.
I couldn’t get it to boot.

I took it to the shop.
They diagnosed faulty RAM. (2x4gb)
They replaced the RAM there and then with new (slower) RAM (2x4gb).
I RMA’d the RAM.
They didn’t have any 2x4gb so sent me 2x8gb.

Here’s my current build:

AsRock B350m Pro4
Ryzen 3 1200
GTX 1050TI
HyperX FURY 2x4GB DDR4 2400MHz
WD Blue 1TB HDD
OCZ 600w PSU

So Patriot sent me VIPER 2x8gb 3000MHz for my RMA - very kind of them!

Should I:

Sell my 2x4gb and use the 2x8gb?
Sell the 2x8gb and buy a SSD?
Sell the 2x8gb and put towards Ryzen 5?

Which option would give me the most benefit with my build? All advice welcome!

Thanks!

Solution
i guess between ssd and 2x8gb ram, if you felt enough with 8gb of ram, then i guess just get an ssd, but if 8gb ram is not enough for you, better get the 2x8gb ram. i was wondering why dont you just buy an ssd and keep the ram instead, satas ssd is pretty affordable and have fairly decent speed
