Hi, a couple months back i got a gtx 1050ti for my asus m32bf desktop after finding out it was compatible with my motherboard and would increase my performance. So, after getting my graphics card, it improved my fps but not as much i would have liked. I figured this was because of my intergrated apu which i take i cant change. Because of this i wanted better performance so i have recently ordered a new (i say new it is used). I know you need thermal paste, but i wanted to know if there is anything you need when you are fitting a new motherboard.
Thanks.

You may need to reinstall windows because the drivers you have may not work with a H61 chipset.
If you can boot, just install the needed new motherboard drivers.
If you can't boot, you will need to reinstall windows.

A pre built pc will have an oem version of windows. That license is tied to the motherboard.
Your new cpu/motherboard may reactivate without issue, or you may need to buy a new license.

sorry, i was just rushing.
The new motherboard i am ordering is the MSI H61M-E23, the cpu i have is an i5 2500k,
the one i have currently in my prebuilt is an m32bf. Will this all work out and will it need anything extra other than thermal paste.
