Best GPU Performance stats for Mining Crypto

It is very hard to understand the Crypto mining hardware given all the parameters you must take into account. Some of which are; cost, wattage, electricity costs, overclocking ability, etc.
I hsve not seen it simplified?

Since there are many mining programs other than NiceHash would one have to do research on the others also or do they follow NiceHash in its method? Some also do profit switching for you choosing the best Crypto currency to mine. Is it just trial and error depending on the Graphics card or CPU? Thank you for providing that starting point.

What hardware do you have, what might you need to buy, how long would it take to recoup the purchase price....those sort of things.

For instance...if you need to [strike]invest[/strike] spend $1,000 in parts, and you can only earn $1.50/day...2 years before you even break even.

I realize how complex this CryptoCurrency Environment is. I just started into it about a month or so. I have been absorbed trying to figure things out and how they all relate together amidst turbulent times.
I am trying to assist my brother who had 6 old servers with Intel Integrated Graphics, 3 are rack and 3 are tower. Most of them have dual CPUs and run Windows and Linux. He use to work as an Ecommerce Architect at IBM. I am of the opinion that if CPU mining works okay then can move onto GPU mining as that would take an investment.

I have been testing CPU mining on an old IBM Desktop. Mining Electroneum for the past week on MiningPoolHub with Awesome Miner and CryptoNight. I am still trying to figure out all the complexities and details.

I am an Audio and Systems Engineer and formerly a Financial Consultant & Broker. I have a 8-core smartphone and mining Monero with Miner Gate for the last few days. I am not sure about Miner Gate as there is not that much configuration options? Very slow!

Sorry for the long response but; I am glad I found you and you have helped me out greatly.
