Hey Internet people! I am building a pc for a friend and am having some trouble with my cpu/motherboard. The specs I have in my out-of-case build are a

Ryzen 2200g,
MSI A320M Pro-VD Plus R,
8 gigs of crucial ddr4 ram,
and thats all connected with a 400w powersupply.

I have had the issue of turning on the system with a screwdriver and the fans spin and lights go on, but no screen output from the VGA cable I have directly in the MOBO. I have tested to see if it was the powersupply by using my personal rigs psu and that still didn't work. There is a little indicator on the side that says, according to the manuel, the APU is not recognized or not found. I would like to know if this is a problem with the motherboard hardware, or if it is a problem with the motherboard bios software no being up to date with this new APU. Thanks for any advice!

Solution
You need to update the mobo bios before using the Ryzen 2200G.

I hear AMD will ship a CPU to you for this purpose. https://wccftech.com/amd-will-send-free-processor-flash-motherboards-bios-ryzen-2000g-raven-ridge-apus/
