No boot with HD 4550

Hi, I installed the 4550 in my inspiron 537 slim. The computer turns on, the fans start spinning and then it powers down. Sometimes it will stay on. When taking the card out, it boots normally. Any ideas as to how to fix this ?? Just wanna play fallout 3 :/
