All parts work together but as i have posted about 12000 times in peoples build's they need a wireless network adapter...
If you don't have this you must use a ethernet cable to get an internet connection which can be a problem for most people due to where the router and pc are located... TP-Link are a good brand, you can pick one up for $18 will do the job, more expensive ones will most likely just provide a 5GHz connection which most people most likely know what that is or how to use, I can provide links to the products if you'd like?

$27 - https://pcpartpicker.com/product/6BXfrH/netgear-wireless-network-card-wn311b100nas
$25 - https://pcpartpicker.com/product/RZNp99/asus-wireless-network-card-pcen15
$20 - https://pcpartpicker.com/product/PqCwrH/tp-link-wireless-network-card-tlwn851nd

Any of them are a good choice, I'd suggest either the Asus PCE-N15 or the TP-Link TL-WN851ND, the netgear is a good choice but has a smaller transfer speed which could bad for you depending if you transfer files between computer to computer etc, If these are two expensive i can suggest other choices :)

Some thoughts

As you've picked a "k" CPU, I assume you're going to overclock. That CPU cooler won't be up for the task.

Small tweak, but look for faster ram, maybe 3200.

No SSD? For gaming it won't increase FPS, but load times are lightning fast, not to mention windows boot times and general responsiveness. Consider at least a 256Gb ssd.

I know GPU prices are crazy. What resolution are you wanting this system to play at? What games? I'm wondering if there's a way we can tweak this system and upgrade the GPU. Maybe even drop to an i5 if the budget is tight...

Na im not going to over clock and im looking to keep the 1200$ price range if u could link a SSD that would be cool also another CPU you might have in mind as for resolution just your average 1600x900 HD nothing fancy like 4k
