Hi there, I just started a new build with new parts that Ive never used or had before on my previous build. By that I mean I switched to intel, new case, and water cooled using H110i.

My question is: I have the h440 case and its a silent case with lots of fans able to be fitted in there. The issue is where should i place the h110i?

I was thinking of putting it on the front or top of case? I know id have to take out all hdd trays for it to fit on there and its better for air flow.
Also, Id like to know where should i place the other fans, as exhaust or intake? TIA

New pc specs:
Mobo-Asrock z370 Taichi
CPU-I7-8700k
RAM- Corsair dominator 3200mhz
Case- NZXT H440
Water cooler- Corsair h110i
Fans- AsiaHorse 120mm fans (3 fans) rgb

Since hot air rises, case's airflow rule of thumb is: front & bottom - intake; top & rear - exhaust.

It doesn't matter much where you put your rad but i'd put it as top exhaust and in pull configuration. Easier to clean the rad from dust this way. Also, all the hot air generated by CPU will be exhausted directly outside of the case, rather than inside the case if you'd had your rad as front intake. Though, the temp difference is quite small when you have your rad as front intake rather than top exhaust.
